Today we were able to enjoy a nice dinner with Grandma as she celebrated her 89th birthday. It was her first birthday in Indiana and from all indications she really enjoyed herself.

Prior to dinner and from some time afterwards she enjoyed receiving phone calls from her children and grandchildren and even great grandchildren.

It was fun to watch Grandpa give her the present that he got for her and to watch her open the gift she received from her children. She was smiling from ear to ear and glowing for quite some time after putting them both on. Unfortunately we did not have enough cameras and many wonderful shots were not obtained as cameras were saving pictures and the shots could not be taken fast enough. However by clicking the photo above you can see many good pictures and share in the joy that Grandma felt this evening.
