Why I think it’s so fun to publicly embarrass myself, I’ll never know, but because I do, this is what the rest of the world gets.

In younger year, I was a singer. A cappella, Madrigals, Show Choir, private voice lessons, private group singing and dancing….whether I was any good, that is always debatable, but the point is, I loved to sing. I still love to sing. As I’ve grown older, there is a little bit of regret that has crept in, what would my instrument sound like, had I kept going.

Last month I read “The Last Lecture” by Randy Pausch (watch for the review coming soon) and I realized, that if I wanted to teach my kids that they could do anything they dreamed of, then I needed to do what I dreamed of. When I saw the advertisement on Facebook to enter a contest sponsored by Garnier Fructice and American idol, I decided this was perfect for me. Although my instrument hasn’t been tuned for a while, I have acquired a few other talents over the years that could help me in my endeavor.

What you are about to see, is all me (except for the karaoke minus track). Without further ado, I present to you, my first music video! Arranged, produced, directed, and starring…MOI!
