As is custom in the Bland household we all gather for a Family Home Evening focused on the birth of Jesus Christ. We spend time as a family retelling the story as told in the bible and then share some talents, okay the talent part was new this year and was monopolized by the Lesh Pesh and Big Dog Family. They were great singing as a family.

Then we all dug into the presents that we were given by Mom and Dad, the siblings and Roo, Ren and Fish all got to open the gifts that Grandma and Grandpa M gave them as well.

I was the passer outer this year and Roo was very excited to help out with that aspect of the tradition. The room quickly filled with paper and at times it seemed that we would all be swallowed up in it. Then a child would jump through exclaiming loudly that this is exactly what they wanted.
